I finally got to stamp yesterday. I've been catching up on my computer work, and I also did some creating on my computer. As you can see, I made a Fall layout for my blog with
My Digital Studio (TM) (p. 181). I really had fun with it, and I'm happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it, too!
I CASEd today's card from
Connie Babbert. My card is pretty much the same as hers. I just changed the colors a little bit (very little), and made the leaves with the
Leaves #2 Originals Die (p. 213) instead of the Wide Oval punch. I also dry embossed them with the
Wallpaper Impressions folder (p. 214) instead of using designer paper. The sunflower was made with the
Flower, Daisies #2 Bigz die (p. 207). I die-cut 2 each of the two larger daisies in the die. I sponged the sunflower layers with Peach Parfait ink. I thought I had picked up the Pumpkin Pie ink pad, but picked up Peach Parfait instead. I'm glad I did. I think Pumpkin Pie would have been a little too dark with the Certainly Celery card base. The center of the sunflower was made with the
1-3/4" Circle XL Punch (p. 202), and then dry embossed with the
Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder (p. 214). The border at the bottom of the card was made with the
Curly Label XL Punch (p. 202).
